LOVE WITHOUT FEAR MONTH 2024

February has been celebrated as Love Without Fear Month for the past 35 years by Kedish House. The month is used to remember those victims who have died, those still suffering and those who have survived domestic
violence. Kedish House has also used the month to honor individuals for their efforts towards ending violence in our communities. There are two recipients this year, Scott and Michele Peterson of Ellendale. They were honored with a certificate of appreciation and a small gift. Scott and Michele have helped with many things at
Kedish House over the years. They have both helped load and haul furniture and other items that have been donated to help our families. They have both helped with
fundraising, including our steak dinners the past several years as well as other events we’ve held. They are always available to help our families when assistance has been needed. We depend on our volunteers for many things throughout the year and we couldn’t do what we do without the help of all who volunteer their time. Scott grew up in Ellendale and graduated from Ellendale High School and attended college in Valley City and Michele grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School and also attended college in Valley City where she and Scott met. They later moved to Ellendale where Scott works at the Dickey County Courthouse and Michele works at Dickey Rural
Networks. Scott and Michele are the parents of three daughters KaSaundra, Tiana and Kelsey. Scott likes to read, watch
football and NASCAR racing. Michele is a great baker and decorator of her baked items and she also enjoys NASCAR Racing. Scott and Michele have both attended some of the larger races, which they enjoyed. The whole family loves playing board games whenever they are together and spend many hours especially Uno. Kedish House is very pleased to recognize both Scott and Michele with our 2024 volunteer awards. Last year’s volunteer that was recognized was Betty Martin of Ellendale. If you need assistance or would like further information about the work of Kedish House, would like a presentation about family violence, or have time to volunteer or would like to donate toward our work please call 701-349-4729 or our cell phone
